Forum Theatre

Forum theatre is the interactive staging, by actors, of particular scenarios in front of an audience who are then invited to analyse what they’ve seen, give feedback and coach characters in presentation and conduct.

The scene is then replayed putting the audience’s suggestions into action to achieve a successful outcome.

Forum theatre is a particularly effective way of raising controversial issues in a non-confrontational manner and allowing individuals to identify and solve problems themselves. An excellent way to train staff in many areas including customer service, health and safety, managerial tasks etc, it also builds confidence and is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the participants.
